2006 Kerrville New Folk Winner

Once again, it is a little odd to think of songwriting in competitive terms... but, Gordy was chosen as a winner of the 2006 Kerrville Folk Festival, New Folk Songwriting Competition.

Past winners/finalists include: Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett, James McMurtry, Martin Sexton, Slaid Cleaves, Robert Earl Keen and Nanci Griffith.
