The Band of Heathens new self titled studio album is here May 20! Check out the new website at www.bandofheathens.com. Lots of new press, reviews and interviews.
The Heathens will be in Texas for the month of May, and then June, July and August will find them in NYC, Chicago, Washington D.C., North Carolina, Atlanta, Louisiana, Mississippi, Colorado, Utah, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee among other places. Catch them if you can!

SXSW was a blur of tight jeans, CaliforniAustin, and rock 'n' roll. The
Heathens stayed plenty busy and had a good time meeting people from all
over the place.
Now that things are getting back to normal, the Heathens
are going back to a weekly residency while they're in town, only this
time, you can catch them most Thursdays at 8pm at the Saxon
Pub.

and stay tuned for the new studio debut album coming from the
Band of Heathens on May 20.
Also, in the Austin
Music Awards, John Chipman was recognized as the #1 Drummer in Austin.

Gordy Quist Nominated for 2 Texas Music Awards! -- Click HERE to vote for Gordy as 2007 Best Male Vocalist and for Gordy's song, Quarters and Dimes, as Song of the Year. Voting is open from Feb. 4 - Feb. 22, 2008.
The Band of Heathens will be performing on the legendary Mountain Stage show in West Virginia on Feb. 24. The show will air to radio in May.January '08

Gordy and the rest of the Heathens are staying around Texas til the end of the year, finishing up a new DVD, Live at Antone's, and a new studio album. Rocky Mountain and Southeast U.S. Tours are being booked for the beginning of 2008.
